Roula Kalis is a Canadian born of Greek descent who became a teacher for a very simple reason – she wanted to make a difference.

She taught English as a second language at various educational institutions and language schools both in Canada and in Greece, including but not limited to the following: Stamatiou International Language School; Ekpetheutiria Makrigianni, Diamandopoulos Academy of Early Education, Major Mackenzie High School.

She specializes in ESL teaching adapting to the needs of students for who English is a second language. She holds an Honours BA from York University, a BA from the University of Athens, Faculty of English Literature, as well as a Diploma from OISE/ESL-Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto.

Her philosophy of Education lies on her belief in teaching all students with respect and in giving them every opportunity to succeed on their own terms.

She is married with children and lives with her family in Toronto, Canada. She joined ICS Toronto ?ffice team in May of 2016.
