George was born and raised in Thessaloniki. He pursued his education in Electrical Engineering at the Polytechnic School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His early professional journey transitioned towards informatics as he engaged with a software house, where he honed his skills in program analysis and development. Over the course of three decades, he established himself as a proficient freelance computer programmer. Noteworthy among his accomplishments is his seven-year tenure, from 1997 to 2004, supporting the Municipality of Evosmos. During this period, he provided valuable assistance in various areas such as payroll, polls, registry office management, and protocol, in addition to implementing a category 5 ethernet network and crafting tailored applications for municipal operations. George actively contributed to numerous European initiatives for the Municipality of Evosmos, focusing on IT solutions. Proficient in BASIC, PASCAL, CLIPPER, and VISUAL FOXPRO programming languages, he has developed numerous specialized applications. His teaching experience includes instructing analysts and programmers in Algorithms, Databases, Basic, Pascal, and Operating Systems, as well as providing training to business professionals in commercial software usage, accountants in financial applications, and secretaries in word processing, accumulating over 3500 hours of instructional time. George is the founder of www.hair.gr, a website dedicated to hair salons, featuring his unique application “Hair Manager” tailored for salon operations. He fulfilled his military service in the Hellenic Air Force as a computerized devices operator. Proficient in English and conversational in German and French, he is an active volunteer blood donor and a member of the National Blood Donation Center. George is also a member of Greek MENSA.
