The March pensions will be deposited on February 25, 2020.

Increases are also expected for the survivors’ pensions which will be retroactive for the past 10 months.

The Public Sector pensions will be deposited on Thursday, February 27, 2020.

The remaining dates are as follows:

• March pensions from IKA: Thursday, February 27, 2020
• March pensions from ΝΑΤ: Thursday, February 27, 2020
• March pensions from ΟΑΕΕ: Tuesday, February 25, 2020
• March pensions from OGA: Tuesday, February 25, 2020
• March pensions from ΕΤΑΑ (non-salaried employees): Tuesday, February 25, 2020
• The remaining EFKA bodies (salaried employees): Thursday, February 27, 2020
• The temporary pensions from the Armed Forces, the Security Forces and the Fire Brigade for March 2020 will be deposited on Thursday, February 27, 2020
• The auxiliary ETEAEP pensions will be deposited on Wednesday, 4/3/2020.

Increase in the survivors’ pensions as of the March pension

As mentioned by the ETEAP in its circular decision, the auxiliary survivors’ pensions which were granted due to the death of the insured persons after 13/5/2015 are increased at 70% of the pension of the deceased person, from 50% today. This increase will be retroactive from May 17, 2019, therefore, if the retroactive amounts are given with the March pensions it will amount to the retroactive amount of the past 10 months.

These increases pertain to the survivors’ pensions of the Public Sector (former TEADY) and other former small pension funds such as the TEAYNTP (maritime and tourist agents), the Seamen’s pension fund (ΚΕΑΝ) etc., and other survivors’ pensions of the former ΙΚΑ – ΤΕΑΜ.

It should be noted that for the two most important funds of the Public Sector and IKA, the two most important funds of the ETEAEP, not all pensions will need readjustment, only those concerning deaths which occurred after May 16, 2016, since the new regime was put into effect on that date.

More specifically, the 55-year-old age limit which the widows must have reached after the first three-years of receiving the survivor’s pension was abolished and henceforth the auxiliary pension received as a result of the death of a pensioner or an insured person will be paid to the beneficiaries independently of their age and can only be interrupted after the death of the beneficiary, or if he/she gets married or enters into a civil partnership agreement.

Αναμένονται, παράλληλα, να γίνουν αυξήσεις στις συντάξεις χηρείας και να δοθούν αναδρομικά 10 μηνών.

Οι συντάξεις του Δημοσίου θα πληρωθούν την Πέμπτη 27 Φεβρουαρίου 2020.

• συντάξεις Μαρτίου του ΕΤΑΑ (μη Μισθωτών) την Τρίτη 25 Φεβρουαρίου 2020
• των υπολοίπων Ταμείων του ΕΦΚΑ (Μισθωτών) την Πέμπτη 27 Φεβρουαρίου 2020
• Οι προσωρινές συντάξεις Ενόπλων Δυνάμεων, Σωμάτων Ασφαλείας και Πυροσβεστικού Σώματος του Μαρτίου 2020 θα καταβληθούν την Πέμπτη 27 Φεβρουαρίου 2020
• Το ΕΤΕΑΕΠ θα καταβάλλει τις επικουρικές συντάξεις την Τετάρτη 4/3/2020.

Αυξήσεις στις συντάξεις χηρείας με τις συντάξεις Μαρτίου

Όπως αναφέρει σε εγκύκλιό του το ΕΤΕΑΠ οι επικουρικές συντάξεις χηρείας που χορηγήθηκαν λόγω θανάτου ασφαλισμένων μετά τις 13/5/2015 αυξάνονται στο 70% της σύνταξης του θανόντος, από 50% που είναι σήμερα. Η αύξηση ισχύει αναδρομικά από τις 17 Μαΐου του 2019 έτσι εφόσον τα αναδρομικά δοθούν με τις συντάξεις Μαρτίου θα είναι αναδρομικά 10 μηνών.

Οι αυξήσεις αφορούν συντάξεις χηρείας Δημοσίου (πρ. ΤΕΑΔΥ) και άλλων μικρών πρώην Ταμείων όπως του ΤΕΑΥΝΤΠ (ναυτιλιακοί και τουριστικοί πράκτορες) των Ναυτικών (ΚΕΑΝ) κ.α. αλλά και συντάξεις χηρείας του πρ. ΙΚΑ – ΤΕΑΜ.

Να σημειωθεί ότι για τους δύο μεγαλύτερους φορείς του Δημοσίου και του ΙΚΑ δυο μεγαλύτεροι φορείς του ΕΤΕΑΕΠ, δεν χρειάζεται να αναπροσαρμοστούν όλες οι συντάξεις αλλά μόνο όσες αφορούν θανάτους μετά την 12η Μαΐου του 2016, καθώς από τότε και εφεξής ισχύει το νέο καθεστώς.

Συγκεκριμένα καταργήθηκε το ηλικιακό όριο των 55 ετών που θα έπρεπε να έχουν οι χήρες μετά την πρώτη τριετία της σύνταξης χηρείας και πλέον η επικουρική σύνταξη λόγω θανάτου συνταξιούχου ή ασφαλισμένου καταβάλλεται στους δικαιούχους ανεξάρτητα από την ηλικία τους και διακόπτεται μόνον με το θάνατο του δικαιούχου, ή με τη σύναψη γάμου του, ή συμφώνου συμβίωσης.
